AnXuR Films was born from a clear conviction: genre cinema is one of the most universal languages of contemporary filmmaking. Horror, thriller, crime, mystery, science fiction, and dark comedy can speak to diverse audiences, cross cultures and territories, and turn a local story into an international cinematic experience.

AnXuR Films develops and produces genre feature films driven by strong directorial voices, international ambition, and a pragmatic production focus. We look for stories that move, surprise, and leave lasting visual impressions—stories rooted in distinct universes with compelling characters and a sharp point of view.

Our goal is to bridge the gap between Italian talent, original storytelling, and the international marketplace. We work from early development to give projects the creative, logistical, and financial foundation needed to compete on a global scale.

Experience behind the story

Alessandro Gatto is an Italian film producer with extensive experience across feature films, shorts, and co-productions. He has worked on diverse projects spanning thriller, horror, and comedy, building a skillset that balances creative vision, physical production management, and market awareness.

His credits include L’Ombra del Lupo, La mia seconda volta, Va bene così,  About Us, Troppa famiglia, and RIP—selected for the Italian Feature Competition at the 2026 David di Donatello Awards.

Through AnXuR Films, he now focuses this background on a distinct mission: producing Italian genre cinema designed for global audiences.
